Shrikant Jichkar- The most educated person of India

Born in a farmer family in the Nagpur district on 14th September 1954, Shrikant Jichkar is known as the most qualified person of India according to the Limca book of World records. 

With 16 degrees to his name, Shrikant appeared for 42 university examinations between 1973 and 1990. Not only did he appear but he passed most of the exams with first division and several gold medals. 
He qualified the IPS exam but resigned and then cleared the IAS exam. After serving as an IAS for four months he resigned from this post as well and contested his first general elections. He got elected to Maharashtra legislative assembly and he was India’s youngest politician at the age of 25. He served 14 portfolios as a minister and was subsequently the most powerful minister of his time. 
The country lost its genius on June 2, 2004 as he passed away in a car accident at the age of 49.
